WOMEN TURN OUT IN SUPPORT OF THE CLUB

The Old Paradians Amateur Football Club continues to enjoy the healthy support of those who respect the 90 year-old sporting institution as a vital part of the College community fabric, particularly the women of Parade.

More than 80 women frequented the Frank Mount Social Room for the annual Ladies Day Luncheon held prior to the recent match with Prahran-Assumption. The ladies heard club President Mike Jolley, who confirmed his intention to stand down from the position at season’s end, and Senior Coach Phil Plunkett who took time out pre-game to partake in a Q and A with the capable MC Graeme Clark.

Guests included current players’ sisters, wives, mothers and grandmothers, together with past players and diehard supporters.

Special mention should be made to Sue Ashcroft, Julie Mahony and Sally Kolotylo, who so capably arranged the setup of the room for the luncheon.
