PARADE COLLEGE

A wonderful gathering of Old Paradians was held at the Old England Hotel's e.Bar to celebrate the 20-year reunion of the Class of 2004.

The event had a strong turnout with over 50 people in attendance. A 2004 Facebook group and word of mouth proved important in promoting the event and securing a strong attendance.

During the event, Brayden Geary, College Captain, addressed the group and spoke about the lifelong friendships that were formed during their time at school and how they appreciated what the school had provided them.

It's always interesting to hear about the varied journeys of the men who have left the College. Old Paradian Priest Jaycee Napoles attended the event and enjoyed catching up with old friends.

Old Paradians, who went on to become current staff members, Matt Simpson and Paul Watson, were also in attendance and enjoyed the evening.

Teachers Craig Seckold, David McGrath (who travelled down from Queensland for the event) and Paul Sapiano all enjoyed the evening. Craig had very fond memories of the group teaching them along the way to Year 12.

Upon arrival, every guest was presented with an Old Paradians' Association lapel pin. The Association received genuine appreciation for the successful reunion event. Special thanks to Alumni Relations Officer, Lexie Stewart, for her great work in the organisation of the night.
