PARADE COLLEGE

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the Old Paradians’ Association (like everybody else) to recalibrate these past two months - but it has worked to the Association’s advantage with the activation of its modified, simplified online Business Directory.

Once the rapidly-spreading virus forced the OPA to postpone a series of planned reunions and various functions, the Association was able to finalise its planning for a simpler, more efficient “one-size-fits-all” directory to allow Old Paradians in business or trade to promote their services to the huge Association and College networks, by way of:

www.oldparadians.com.au – which now boasts almost 9000 registered recipients of its EDM (Electronic Direct Mailout service) and recently generated 5657 page views in four weeks to May 18;

Facebook (2163 followers); and

LinkedIn (1309 members).

In the past fortnight since the retweeked directory went live, 17 Old Paradians have each committed a flat annual fee of $100 to advertise on the rapidly-growing Directory and it is to the following former students and their companies that the Association extends its sincere appreciation: Chris Bibby (1984), Accurate Financial Mortgage Brokers; Matthew Brown (2002), Bild; Phillip Devlin (1995), NPM Design, Projects, Maintenance; Tim Donohue (1981), Melbourne Chain Wire Fencing; Michael Dimech (1992), Prowire Electrical Solutions; Chris El Moussalli (1990), Walker And Company Accountants, Mortgage Brokers; Paul Evans (1986), Miles Real Estate; Matthew Fleming (1978), The Kimberley Collection; Daniel Garoffolo (2001), CH Robinson Sea Freight, Air & Customs; Wayne Grogan (1983), O’Brien Plumbing, Northcote; Andrew Hume (1999), Auscool Air Conditioning Tim Jenkinson (1998), Fitzroy IT; Martin Luby (1979), Ferntree Gully Hyundai & Kia; Angelo Mazzone (1982), Morris Cohen Glen & Co; Steve Nailer (1987), Secon Logistics; John Pearce (1971), John Pearce Notary Public & Solicitor; and Rob Roy Rankin (1991), Rankin business Lawyers.

For all Old Paradians in business or trade, the Association’s Business Directory is truly the hub for your direct promotion to fellow Old Paradians and members of the College network who would be only too happy to support an OP businessperson or “tradey” through these anxious times.
