PARADE COLLEGE

Parade College has always prided itself on providing a holistic education that celebrates the various successes and achievements of its students.

Recently, the College celebrated Gifted Awareness Week. The week aimed to raise awareness of the unique needs and abilities of Gifted Students and to celebrate the dedication of individuals and the educational bodies who are making a positive difference in their lives. As a part of ‘Gifted Awareness Week’ an information evening was held celebrating the theme of “Thriving as Gifted”.

The College offers the ‘Altior Program’ for Year 7-9 ‘high achieving students’. We were thrilled to have some of our former Altior students and Old Paradians attend the evening to share their insights and experiences as high achieving students.

Dylan Tran Ngo – Dylan graduated in 2020 as our College Dux, achieving an ATAR score of 98.75. He was College Vice Captain and participated in Volleyball, Debating and Chess during his time at Parade. He is currently undertaking a double degree in Law and Commerce at Monash University.

Pinidu Chandrasekera - Pinidu graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 99 and perfect study score of 50 for English. Pinidu is currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, which he hopes to supplement with a Juris Doctor at Melbourne Law School before entering the workforce.

Benjamin Ferraro – Benjamin was our 2015 School Captain, who graduated with excellent results and went on to study a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne with a major in Environmental Science. He is currently working as a Health, Safety and Environment Consultant.

We are very appreciative of our Old Paradians coming back to the College and giving of their time to share their experiences as high achieving students.
