The Old Paradians’ Association was delighted to host the 10-Year Reunion for the Class of 2016 at Eaglemont Cellars and Bar on Friday, 19 June.
As a trial of a new venue for OPA reunions, the event proved to be a great success, with close to 60 former students and staff in attendance. The room was filled with conversation, laughter, and fond memories as classmates reminisced about their time at Parade College and reconnected with old friends.
Alumni Officers Steve Philp and Hayley Workman welcomed guests on arrival, presenting each attendee with a small gift and an OPA lapel pin. Steve formally welcomed the group and extended a special thank you to former teachers Leanne Thomas, Kerry Mulvogue, Sayna Sadigi, and Dave Paolino for attending. It was wonderful to see so many past students enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with their former teachers.
College Captain Tui Volaj then addressed the group, speaking warmly and passionately about his time at Parade College. He reflected on the lifelong friendships formed during his school years and expressed his sincere appreciation to the College and the Old Paradians’ Association for bringing the reunion together.
The Old Paradians’ Association looks forward to seeing the Class of 2016 continue to stay connected and hopes to welcome even greater numbers at future reunions.
