PARADE COLLEGE

With the World Cup of cricket on in earnest in England and Wales, Old Paradian Adam Dale (1986) - a member of Australia's 1999 World Cup-winning squad and the College's only post-war Test cricketer - has made a timely return to the Bundoora Campus.

Returning with his plethora of cricket caps, from Parade's 1st XI through to his equally treasured baggy green, Adam paid a welcome visit to Ben Shelton’s Year 11 and 12 sports Academy classes. Before a captive audience, Adam relived his time as a student of Parade and his experiences on cricket's world stage, which brought him in contact with the likes of the Waugh brothers, Ricky Ponting, Glenn McGrath, Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist.

Extolling the virtues of teamwork and camaraderie, Adam imparted upon the boys a lasting message of honesty and integrity.

The Old Paradians' Association is indeed fortunate that it can count Adam amongst its ranks.
