At the recent full College Assembly, the Old Paradians’ Association was thrilled to welcome back to the College, Alessandro Antonello (2003) as our most recent recipient of the ‘Distinguished Old Paradian Award.’

The Old Paradians’ Association first made the Distinguished OP Award in 2004. Our aim is to bring back to the College those Old Collegians who have made a significant and outstanding contribution to his community or profession, and or have a story of interest and edification to our students; and also represents in his personal life the values and expectations of the College and authentic role models for our students

Alessandro spoke with great pride about his time at the College and how it laid important foundations for his career. His academic career has enabled him to travel Australia, the world including Antarctica meeting a wide range of people, new colleagues and new friends. He encouraged our students to take the opportunities that life presents.
