Honorary Old Paradian and former long-time Parade College staff member John Joss (Jossy) recently celebrated a significant birthday. 
Turning 80, he received an OBE Medal (Over Bloody Eighty!) and was joined for a morning tea at his favourite haunt, Mains in Eltham, by his wife Trish Joss (Ms Rooney) and some of his colleagues from his teaching days at the College. John Ramsdale, John Nicholls, Mark Natoli, Peter Rubira and Ross Smith were able to join Jossy to assist him to blow out the candles. Jim Seymour was an apology currently in northern Australia on holidays.
