There is something special about Old Paradians coming together. These gatherings are about far more than simply reminiscing about school days; they provide an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, strengthen lifelong friendships and celebrate the enduring bond that comes from sharing a common history.

While the years may pass and life may take us in different directions, the mateship and camaraderie forged through the Paradian community remains as strong as ever. These regular catch-ups provide an opportunity to share stories, enjoy plenty of laughs, support one another, and create new memories — a wonderful reminder that once a Paradian, always a Paradian.

We recently received a wonderful photograph from Chris Chamberlain (1960), capturing one of these special Old Paradian gatherings.

On Thursday 30 July, a group of Old Paradians who attended the College during the 1950s came together for lunch at The Living Room in Templestowe. The group meets three times a year and, after so many decades, continues to share a strong and enduring connection through their Paradian ties.

It is wonderful to see friendships formed many decades ago continuing to thrive today. Their regular gatherings are a wonderful example of the strength, loyalty and enduring nature of the Old Paradian connection.

Phil Carter (1968) was kind enough to share a wonderful photograph from another recent gathering with his Old Paradian mates.

The group came together for lunch at the Old England Hotel on Tuesday 24 June, a venue that has become their regular meeting place for catch-ups throughout the year.

It is fantastic to see friendships formed during their time at Parade continuing to flourish many decades later.
